Baby Health & Development
Breastfeeding is completely natural, and gives your baby the
very best start in life by providing your baby with antibodies via
the colostrum produced in the early days after birth
The term formula feeding means giving your baby formula milk in
a bottle. Formula milk is based on cow's milk that's been processed
to make it more easily digested by a new baby. It's for babies who
don't get breast milk, or in addition to breast milk.
All babies swallow some air when they drink milk. The air
collects in the stomach, causing the child to feel uncomfortably
full even before he has finished feeding.
When should solids be introduced? Between 4 and 6 months,
although most commonly closer to 6 months.
