If you love travelling, don’t let having a baby stop you! In fact, travelling with your baby can be a fun and rewarding experience. It’s a wonderful opportunity to bond with your baby. All you need to do is make sure you’re well-prepared for a smooth and enjoyable journey. To start off, we’ve compiled a list of must-haves to bring along with you. Who knew such a tiny human being requires so much stuff when travelling!

1. Diapers

The more the better. Make sure you have enough for emergencies!

2. Diaper rash cream

 

To relieve your baby of skin irritation

3. Wipes

You can’t have access to the toilet all the time, use wipes to keep your baby clean

4. Baby toys

Pick a few of your baby’s favourite to keep them entertained

5. Extra clothes

Also, the more the better. But 2-3 outfits per day is probably enough

6. Blankets

Use blankets to lay your baby on, shade your baby or to keep them warm

7. Bibs

To keep your baby’s clothes clean during meal time

8. Plastic bags

Prepare a few different sizes for soiled diapers and dirty clothes

9. Plastic feeding set

It will come in handy if your baby has already started eating solids

10. Formula and water

If you breastfeed, formula is an alternative method when it’s not convenient for breastfeeding. Also, feed your baby water to keep them hydrated

11. Extra baby bottles

You may need extra bottles to store milk or water

12. First-aid kit

Here are the must-haves for treating minor injuries and if your baby is unwell:

  • Thermometer
  • Infant’s ibuprofen to relieve fever and pain
  • Child-safe insect repellent
  • Rubbing alcohol swabs
  • Antibiotic ointment for cuts and scrapes
  • Bandages
  • Gauze rolls
  • Scissors
  • Adhesive tape

 

13. Sling or front carrier

A hands-free way to carry your baby in crowded areas

14. Collapsible stroller

If you’re planning on doing a lot of walking, use a stroller for your baby
